Welcome to your adventure in agriculture. Just about an hour from Northern Virginia you can be riding a hay wagon around the farm and learning first hand about cow life from baby calves to the adult dairy cows that are producing "nature's most nearly perfect" food. We are proud to show you our herd of 100 Holstein cows and some of our farm equipment we use to farm 1800 acres in Fauquier County, VA
Barnstorming airshow and airplane rides have been performed every Sunday (May through Oct) since 1971. The show includes skydivers, wing-walkers, aerobatics, formation flying, etc. Most of the airplanes are 1920's - 40's vintage open cockpit bi-planes. Before and after the airshow, they sell rides in the planes, including Piper Cub, Open Cockpit, Dual Open Cockpit and fully aerobatic rides.
Winery & Tasting Room located in Midland, VA Grey Horse Vineyards is a vineyard and winery located in Virginia's Piedmont region. Located on 35 acres in the beautiful rolling hills of Virginia, Grey Horse Vineyards is also home to the owner's horses. Owners Kathy and Jay Fenske built the vineyard on their own, along with the advice and consultation of their friends at Molon Lave Vineyards. The Morais family has been making wine for over a hundred years. In Portugal, the heritage of wine making has been passed down from generation to generation. Joining this age old family tradition with Virginias rich history of winemaking, the Morais family has built a legacy which has become an area landmark. The Winery opened its doors to the public in 2011. Since then we have expanded vineyards, wine production and venue space to accommodate the increase of visitors we see every year.
